grateful to be building the future of carbon removal from the ground up. literally. started the morning with bone broth and a cold plunge, then jumped on a call with microsoft about gigaton-scale deployment. by lunch, our feedstock supplier called to let us know the trucks were delayed, the moisture content was higher than expected, and the facility would be operating at 40% capacity through next month. so now i’m standing in an organic cornfield in $400 trail shoes, manually spreading several tonnes of biochar onto the soil while explaining additionality to a farmer who just asked me why i’m putting burnt wood on his corn. somewhere along the way, “scaling carbon removal” became this. grateful for the journey.
